Join our Milonga Desde el Alma with Argentinian folklore party, Peña!

Desde el Alma with Peña! Peña means gathering in a friendly and joyfully atmosphere, with authentic food, plenty of wine and lots of folk music and dance. A fiesta for young and old, with or without dance experience. Anybody can join it. Julia, Ina and Carlos will guide the Peña and share with us their love for Argentinian folklore music and dance. They will also introduce you to some new quick-to-learn dances.
This time, before the Peña, Julia and Ina will provide a Chacarera workshop for dancers who already know the basics of this dance and would like to dive deeper into the essence of the dance, work on freedom of expression and discover new facets of connection, that will allow you to improvise and create your own signature in the dance.
And during the Peña, Carlos and his guitar will fire up our folkloric dance floor, which will be also outside. The Weather Gods are joining us! You too? :-))

Julia is a Tango & Folklore teacher and performer from Ukraine Her heart fell in love with Argentinian Folklore and Tango 8 years ago. After countless hours of intensive study and training with top Maestros, she is now sharing her knowledge and experience of more than 50 Argentine folklore dances in lessons and performances in Europe.

Join our first edition of Milonga Desde el Alma with Argentinian folklore party, Peña!

Peña is gathering with lovely  friendly atmosphere, homemade food, plenty of wine and lots of folk music and dance.
Julia Ozols, Ina Greiner and Walter Gonzalez will guid us in the microcosm of Argentina’s regional traditions of folklore. Walter will take us with his gitaar to authentic journey through the traditional music of his province Buenos Aires. Julia and Ina will share with us their deep embodied love for Argentinian folk dance and provide chacarera and zamba workshop. Natalia will take care of homemade food: delicious Walter’s empanadas, Ukrainian mum’s pies, salads, soup and wine bar.
After Peña we will move on to our first edition of Milonga Desde el Alma  where dj Vincent will touch our souls and feet with his beautiful tango music.  And of course we will have some folklore tanda.
We invite you to be the part of this debut, a joyful, heart2heart encounter.

DJ Vincent

Vincent (van ‘t Laar) is een jonge, energieke, ambitieuze internationale DJ (trad.) uit Venetië, woonachtig in Veldhoven. Hij is de zoon van een bekende tanguero en idem tanguera. De laatste maanden is hij doorgedrongen in de tangoscene door in Nederland, Polen, Litouwen en Letland te draaien op lokale milonga’s en marathons. Als een social danser, organisator en marathonner is hij zich terdege bewust van de belangrijke taak van de DJ om een coherente en vloeiende overgang te bieden tussen alle krachtige emoties die de muziek biedt.

Hij hoopt dat je alleen een stoel nodig hebt om van schoenen te wisselen!!
