My film INTERTANGO – a connection for life is an artistic documentary and focuses on tango as an inter-cultural phenomenon – as a possibility to overcome cultural barriers.
The film was shot in Argentina, Russia, Italy, Germany and Pakistan and was invited to festivals (Germany, Austria). Intertango was also shown in Italy, Albania, Slovenia, Belgium.
And now premiere in the Netherlands at Flor de Fango!
The film is shot in English with German subtitles.

DJ Mariano Laplume
Mariano Laplume, artist from Buenos Aires, started developing his dance together with his overall body awareness, alongside with his successful career as a Tango Teacher & Musician since 2003.
As a musician, Mariano had the good fortune to play as a violist in the Academic Orchestra of Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, Orchestra Tipica Imperial, Orchestra Estilos Tangueros of Academia Nacional del Tango after which he cofounded and became known as the violinist of the internationally renowned and much loved Sexteto Milonguero, playing in more than 40 milongas and festivals in Buenos Aires and over 100 more around the world.
As dancer Mariano studied Argentine Tango as a dance-form in Buenos Aires with a number of different well known and respected teachers.
In 2012 he moved to London and created the tango School & Milonga Tango Garden. Also Teachign and performing in several cities in Europe. In 2018 he moved to Rotterdam where he is settled being regular collaborator with different Dutch Tango schools like Cuartito Azul in Rotterdam and Check2Cheeck in Amersfoort.
