DJ Helene Eriksen (BsAs)
Helene is a dance ethnologist who has been dancing, researching, teaching and performing traditional dance all of her life. She has been dancing tango for 20 years and lives in Buenos Aires where she lives the life of a milonguera but also teaches private lessons, DJs and helps tango tourists to explore the city and the local tango scene.
As a DJ in North and South America, Europe and beyond, her drive to create delicious traditional tandas comes from her years of experience on the dance floors of Buenos Aires.
Helene is een etnoloog die haar hele leven al traditionele dans danst, onderzoekt, lesgeeft en uitvoert. Ze danst al 20 jaar tango en woont in Buenos Aires, waar ze het leven van een milonguera leidt, privélessen geeft, DJ’t en tangotoeristen helpt de stad en de lokale tangoscene te ontdekken. Als DJ in Noord- en Zuid-Amerika, Europa en daarbuiten komt haar drijfveer om heerlijke traditionele tanda’s te creëren voort uit haar jarenlange ervaring op de dansvloeren van Buenos Aires.
